Hall of Fame
To celebrate the clubs history, the BAD Thunder Basketball Club “Hall of Fame” has been developed to acknowledge past players, staff and volunteers who have contributed to the club. These members have shown hard work and dedication on and off the court and have moved on the do great things. It is a privilege to be associated with these members who exemplify the clubs commitment to go beyond basketball and the community.
One of the original members of BAD Thunder, Robinson Idenhan is a patron for the club. Born in Spain, Robinson moved to England at age 12. In 2013 the 6’8 forward was invited to the Spanish U16 national team training camp.
Robinson is now playing basketball at Modesto Christian High, California USA. He is averaging 15pt, 9rb and 3blk as a junior.
Bruno Sardinia was another key player of the programme from 2007 – 13. An avid basketball fan and a talented musician. Bruno is striving to achieve his goal of playing basketball abroad at university in the USA.
Bruno is a member of the 2014 London Youth Games championship team which clinched the semi-finals game with a dramtic steal and game-winning dunk with only 8 seconds remaining.
Bruno is a 6’1 athletic guard who currently plays for Barking Abbey Basketball Academy.
Jay Jarrett is a 6’7 forward from Barking and Dagenham, played for BAD Thunder from 2007 – 14. Another member of the 2014 London Youth Games championship team, Jay is a specialistd 3 point shooter and elite shot blocker.
Jay attends the International Elite Academy in Atlanta, Georgia USA.
Légénd Robertin (pictured above, number 00) is one of the most physically gifted players to come out of the BAD Thunder programme, who started playing basketball at the age of 16. Towering at 7’0, Légénd is in his first year at Chipola College, Florida USA.
Ranked one of the top centres in the class of 2015 and has committed to NCAA Division 1 Clemson University over Memphis, Tennessee,Texas Tech, Florida State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Alabama, South Carolina, West Virginia.
Kristofers who is a point/shooting guard, has now moved back to his home country of Latvia where he plays for VEF Riga junior team.
